B. Balancing Ministry and Personal Life
Ministry can be overwhelming at times (or maybe all the time), leaving us in disarray when it comes to our priorities. Come and learn how to maintain a balance between ministry and personal life and how to enjoy life in the midst of ministry.
C. Finding a Significant Partner
Our spouse has a tremendous influence on how effective we are in the ministry. Come and learn how we can prepare ourselves to find the right partner for life and ministry. What kind of spouse is suitable for a minister of the Lord?
D. Women in Ministry
The importance of women serving in the ministry is shown throughout the Old and New Testament. This workshop will address the many different places women can serve and why their services are so valuable.
E. Finding the Right Seminary
Choosing a seminary can be difficult and frustrating. Trying to differentiate the strengths and qualities of each seminary can be confusing. This workshop will show us what we need to consider as we select the right seminary to attend.
F. Telling Your Parents
For many the hardest part of going into seminary will not be finding the money, but telling their parents. We will discuss some of the unique concerns of Asian parents have about their son or daughter going into the ministry, ways to address some of their concerns, and what factors to consider if parents disapprove of their decision..
G. Overcoming Temptations Ministers Face
The life of ministry can be a rough road to take, especially when Satan desires to take us down. This workshop will address the different temptations a minister might face and how to overcome them. Some of the temptations may be obvious, but we might be surprised with what we will hear.
